OTHER INFORMATION: Riesling is very susceptible to Botrytis bunch rot, so extra attention to leaf removal and extra spraying is necessary. Usually grown in cooler regions but tends to under ripen in very cold climates. When grown on deep fertile soil this variety tends to overcrop. Produces a range from dry to very sweet dessert wines. More noble rot contributes to sweeter late harvest ice wines.
