OTHER INFORMATION: This winter hardy variety closely resembles Pinot Noir. Very susceptible to bunch rot but not to powdery mildew or Eutypa dieback. Popular to grow in the Champagne region of France. In the U.S. it has the nickname of Black Riesling due to its black grapes.
