OTHER INFORMATION: Mourvedre is a hot, dry climate grape variety that grows well on hillsides and well drained, fertile soils. This variety was hit hard by phylloxera breakout during the 1880s and is susceptible to powdery and downy mildew. Produces strong, deeply colored wines with a blackberry aroma.
