OTHER INFORMATION: This variety grows best in a mild climate. In order to maintain a high level of acidity, winemakers try to harvest Marsanne just before it reaches full ripeness. Produces dark colored wines that are nutty and rich with aromas of pear and spice. Usually blended with Roussanne.
